Steven Outhwaite, Pride Chair for 2012 said, “Everyone who attended last year will know what a fantastic day it was and how much the Piece Hall came to life. Last year’s event was headlined by X-Factor finalist Diva Fever and we are working to make this year as good if not better”.
Calderdale Pride 2011 attracted over 9000 people and received an extremely positive response from all parties; additionally we were proud to win Halifax Courier’s best new charity of 2011 award.
Calderdale Pride organising committee have already applied to local groups for support but we need further help from both businesses and individuals. Support can take many forms, be it a donation, providing staff / volunteering for the event or simply helping us to promote Calderdale Pride 2012.
